Take 30 – Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 2025
Take 30 is a companion app for tracking game state during trading card and tabletop games. We prioritize your privacy and minimize data collection wherever possible.
Information We Collect
- Gameplay Content (Optional): If you choose to share your current score with a content creator or stream overlay, the app generates a temporary game state file (JSON format) stored using Firebase Realtime Database. This data is not personally identifiable and is cleared the next time damage is recorded, if it has been inactive for 24 hours.
- Product Interaction: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app (e.g. which features are used). This helps us improve the experience, but no personal data is tracked or linked.
Data Usage
- Gameplay data is used only to support optional sharing features and is deleted regularly.
- Analytics data is aggregated and not used for advertising or tracking across apps.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google LLC): Used for cloud syncing (game score) and analytics.
Data Linked to You
Gameplay data may be linked to your device if a consistent session ID is used, but it is never tied to your identity unless you choose to share it publicly (e.g., via a link).
Your Choices
- Using the score-sharing feature is optional.
- You may delete shared score data at any time by resetting the game session within the app.
- If you prefer, you can use the app entirely offline, with no Firebase connection.
